International Residencies
We admire the impact art has on society. To unite and support professionals communicating it to the general public we have created an International Residencies.
The programme is a platform for cultural dialogue between countries, it connects art- managers, curators, and researchers from Ukrainian and the EU. During the residency, you will get to know the workers of the hosting institution and the local art scene. We believe the experience to lead to a long-lasting co-operation.
A residency enables you to work on cultural projects, and not having to worry about money, living and working space. The hosting art-platform will help with all the day to day matters, while we provide the funds. You will have access to the institution’s infrastructure, be it a library, an exhibition area, a space for public events, and studios. The colleagues from the institution will tell you a little bit more about their projects, introduce you to the local art community and help you reimagine your project in a global context.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the limitations on travelling, we temporarily discontinued the programme. We monitor the situation and as soon as travelling is safe will launch new open calls. Follow this page or subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know the updates.
This is for valuable projects
We value exciting and well-thought-out projects, exploring memory, inclusivity, being on the move, and other topics. The residency does not require you to finish the project, but you will have to present the idea to the local art community. The format of the presentation is entirely up to you.
This is for art-managers and researchers from Ukraine and the EU
We welcome curators, art-managers, and researchers from Ukraine and the EU. The form of art you are exploring is not an issue for us; it can be anything you like.
This is for new acquaintances
You will get to know the managers of the hosting art-platform, local colleagues, and artists. There will be a professional and cultural exchange and opportunities for planning collaborative projects.
This is for having your everyday issues covered
We want you to feel comfortable throughout the residency. You hosting institution will always be there to introduce you to colleagues, provide a space for an event, and help with any other issue.
This is for you!
