Digital Labs: culture professionals
We believe Ukrainian culture professionals should have access to the latest trends in their field so they can understand what is going on in Ukraine as well as adapt EU and UK best practices. We envision a space where cultural leaders can meet, join their efforts while working on projects, and get inspired by examples from prosperous colleagues. To bring this vision to reality, we are hosting Digital Labs: culture professionals.
You will learn about effective solutions in lectures with experts from the EU, UK, and Ukraine, come up with ideas in workshops, discuss how to adapt solutions to your own work, and present the result. The experts will be there to advise and direct you. The authors of the best methodologies will get up to EUR 500 to aid further professional advancement.
We open calls for this Digital Lab a couple of times a year. Follow us on social media or subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to hear updates.
This is for discovering the European perspective
Besides lectures from Ukrainian experts, you will have the opportunity to discover the perspectives of cultural professionals from the EU and the UK. You will learn how films are produced at the most well-known studios in France, how alternative theatre collectives from Germany play a full house, how UK publishing houses select illustrators for their projects and find opportunities to collaborate.
This is for learning from pros from the EU, UK, and Ukraine
Our experts are practitioners that have built a successful career and have valuable insights to share. You can ask questions and receive feedback in personal mentoring sessions, while the translators will make sure there are no language barriers between you.
This is for applying the new knowledge in practice right away
During the Digital Lab, you will work on a project that you can immediately apply to your work. In the past, publishers of children’s literature have prepared company pitches for international book fairs, illustrators have updated their portfolios bearing in mind the peculiarities of working with clients from abroad, and music managers have drafted a yearly strategy for their project. For future Digital Labs, we have again prepared a vast number of hands-on and relevant tasks.
This is for creative minds: from theatre directors to illustrators
We hold programmes for professionals in the spheres of theatre, music, literature, design, fashion, cinema, contemporary dance, the art market, museums, cultural heritage, conservation, archives, and more. To participate, you need at least three years of professional experience and a strong motivation to join the Digital Lab.
This is for you!
We are all over Ukraine
