For culture and creative industries

We know Europe hosts thousands of professional events within the cultural industry, and we want you to discover them too. We understand it can be tough to schedule a trip and find the funding, so we have created Study Tours. During the study tour, you will learn straight from professionals in the field, and we hope you will share some of the best practices with your teammates back home in Ukraine. That is why we have created this scheme.
A study tour is similar to an excursion. You will go to Europe in a group with a clear plan for each day together with a guide. The significant difference is that instead of landmarks, you will visit conferences, fairs, workshops, festivals, and European colleagues at their workplaces.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the limitations on travelling to the EU, we temporarily discontinued the programme. We monitor the situation and as soon as travelling is safe will launch new open calls. Follow this page or subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know the updates.
This is for trips to varying countries and events
Each time we will think of something different for a different sector. It could be a trip to a contemporary music festival in Tallinn, a tour of museums in several German towns, or something else. We will make sure each visit is timely and practical. The only recurring study tour will be a trip to Great Britain for managers of creative hubs.
This is for those who want everything to be planned
We will arrange all of the planning, you think of all the learning and having fun. We will decide on the country of destination, events you will visit, and transportation. Our guide and translator will accompany you throughout the trip. However, study tours for creative hub managers will be held in English.
This is for new acquaintances within and outside Ukraine
We only accept individual applications, but you will not be on your own. Other talented Ukrainians will accompany you on tour. Your professional network will be enriched, both by colleagues from Europe and other regions of Ukraine.
This is for professionals in culture
We provide study tours for professionals in theatre, music, literature, design, fashion, cinema, contemporary dance, art market, museums, cultural heritage, conservation, archives and more. To participate, you need at least 3 years of professional experience, and a strong motivation to join the study tour.
This is for you!
