National Minorities Local Events Grants

Ukraine is home to dozens of national minorities. Our dream is for each to have the means for self-expression and the space where the broader audience can engage with their culture and heritage. That is why we have created this grant.  

Host traditional culture celebrations, film festivals, cultural heritage protection forums, and modern ethnic music weeks. You can receive up to EUR 20,000 for an event meaningful to your minority.

What do I get?
  • A chance to bring to life an idea that will become a centrepiece of your portfolio 
  • Up to EUR 20,000 to cover essential expenditures: speakers’ and artists’ fees, licenses, rent of space and equipment, promo, staff, and travel costs 
  • Membership of our alumni community, which means new contacts with the most proactive Ukrainians, networking meetups, and even more grants 
Can I apply?

We are looking for applications both from organisers of well-known festivals and brand-new events. The key is to have a:  

  • Registered non-profit orgnaisation 
  • Work experience in culture or education 
  • Expertise in the sphere of national minorities of Ukraine 
  • Trusted team that can easily organise a large-scale event 
What do I need to apply?
  • Completed application: introduce us to your team and tell us more about the project idea 
  • Budget, drafted in our form 
  • Plan of the event, drafted in our form 
  • Registration documents: extract from the Unified State Registry of Enterprises, non-profit certificate, statute 
How do I apply?

Apply with a short form via our online platform.
