Cultural Transformation Lab for newcomers to cultural management
This is an intensive six-day lab for those who dream of gathering famous artists at festivals, holding book fairs, putting together art exhibitions, and advancing Ukrainian culture.
You will learn how to come up with powerful ideas, unite teams and partners around them, and make sure that everything goes according to plan. At the end of the Lab, you will receive a set of practical tools and a chance to get up to EUR 500 for your further professional development.
When: 18-23 November, 14.00 till 18.00
Where: Zoom
Day 1. Basics of cultural management: project management, fundraising, crisis management, strategic thinking, and AI for work.
Day 2. Cultural heritage, identity, and decolonisation: reinterpretation of traditional culture and decolonisation in various spheres of culture.
Day 3. Culture in hromada in times of war: conflicts and social wounds, inclusivity and socially vulnerable groups, culture and mental wellbeing.
Day 4. International cooperation: international cultural management, communication in multinational teams, foreign partnerships.
Days 5-6. Individual and group consultations with our experts: Denys Vasyliev, Polina Horodyska, Serhiy Zhukovsky, Iryna Kats, Olena Mykhaylenko and Maria Yaremchuk.
The lab will benefit:
- Cultural project managers with less than one year of experience who want to systematise their knowledge
- Newcomers who dream of carrying out art projects and want to get the basics of cultural project management
