For Ukrainian publishers: Translation Grants from and into endangered languages

Sector: Culture and creative industries
Type: Grant
Location: Ukraine
Deadline: Finished
Organiser: House of Europe

Ukraine is a focal point for 100+ nations. Some have carried their culture, traditions, and language through the years, while others are losing their mother tongue. To support them, we started this grant. Ten Ukrainian publishers will translate the most crucial texts to collect a library of literature in endangered languages.

Translate books from endangered languages into Ukrainian, and visa versa — from Ukrainian into engaged languages. Translation Grants will support you at each project stage, from translation to promo. You will have up to EUR 5,000 overall.

Join the live stream on Facebook on 9 October at 15.30 to learn about the pitfalls and ask questions to the grant managers.
