Creative Europe: circulation of Ukrainian and European literary works

Sector: Culture and creative industries
Type: Grant
Location: Ukraine, Europe
Deadline: Finished
Organiser: Creative Europe

These are grants for publishers to translate fiction literature. You will get up to EUR 300,000 to introduce to Ukrainian readers selected works by European authors or to promote Ukrainian literature abroad.

This year, the priority of the programme is to spread literary works in Ukrainian so that Ukrainian refugees have access to their native literature.

You can choose several books at one — from five to infinity. The grants will cover up to 60% for translation, publishing, distribution and promotion of books in paper, electronic or audio formats.

You have to translate all the books in three years. You can apply independently or in partnership with publishing houses, book shops and literature festivals in Ukraine, EU and 12 other countries.

The competition is managed by the European Education and Culture Executive Agency. This is one of the thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.
