This is an opportunity for students to get a master’s degree at a UK university. You will spend a year studying, networking extensively, and experiencing local culture. You need to be a leader to participate in the programme.

Since 1983, over 60,000 people from more than 160 countries have received Chevening scholarships. Almost 500 Chevening graduates are Ukrainians.

Can I apply?

To apply for the scholarship, you need to have: 

  • Citizenship of Ukraine or another Chevening-eligible country 
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least two years of work experience (equivalent to 2,800 hours)
What do I need to apply?
  • Completed application form: elaborate on the selected master’s programmes, your leadership skills and career plans
  • Unconditional offer from a British university. While applying for a scholarship, you should also apply to three master’s courses at UK universities and receive a letter of acceptance from one by 8 July 2027.
  • Successful interview and two references from academia or professionals. These are required at the second stage of selection. Only applicants selected by an independent commission will be invited to an interview.

How do I apply?

Apply by 6 October via an online portal. Complete the application and all documents in English.

You will receive notifications about the results of each selection stage by email.

Good to know
  • The monthly stipend will depend on whether you study in London or another city. These rates are subject to an annual review.
  • After your studies end, you must return to your country of citizenship for at least two years.
