Democracy grants for media and civil organisations
These are grants supporting resilience and sustainability of Ukrainian society in the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. Independent media and civil society organisations can get up to USD 38,000 on supplying accurate information about the crisis, fact-checking, exposing cases of disinformation, and government oversight. The geographic scope of the project activities should be limited to Ukraine.
Democracy grants are one of the thematic directions of “COVID-19: Civil Society Resilience and Sustainability – Ukraine” programme initiated by Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation and funded by the European Union.
