Vidnova Lab: fellowships for civil society activists
Vidnova Lab is a fellowship programme for Ukrainian civil society activists who remain in Ukraine or live abroad.
For six months, you will receive a monthly scholarship of EUR 500. You will also have a community of like-minded people, learning opportunities and EUR 4,000 for a professional development project.
The Vidnova Lab project was created by Commit gGmbH with financial support from the Robert Bosch Stiftung and Maria and Kurt Dohle Stiftung.
- Six months of a monthly scholarship of EUR 500 — from June to December
- EUR 4,000 for a project or research
- Regular online meetings from July to November.
- Two 4-day meetings in Ukraine for the exchange of experience and networking
- Training in a systemic approach
- Participation in the alumni community that unites more than 250 activists
This opportunity is for experienced civil society activists who:
- Live in Ukraine or abroad
- Work with culture, education, media, participatory urban development, green renewal, mental health, memory, IDP or veteran groups
- Have a team, colleagues or partners with whom to implement changes in Ukrainian communities or institutions
- Online application, completed in Ukrainian
- CV
- Information about your work experience, completed projects and professional plans for 2026
By 23 March, submit the application form.
Don't delay your application — the organisers may close the form earlier if 400 applications are received.
The organisers will announce 20 winners by 27 April.
- You can only receive the Vidnova fellowship once.
- You cannot apply if your activities are aimed exclusively at working with Ukrainian communities abroad.
- Unfortunately, the organisers cannot explain why your application was not selected.
