These are grants for civil organizations aimed at strengthening their capacity in countering the negative impact of the coronavirus outbreak. You can get up to USD 11,000 on a project in one of these categories:

  • Civil society-led mobilization of social support. For example, on a series of events with experts on how to effectively cope with different future operating environments or an event where you will develop mechanisms to compensate for insufficient or inadequate responses by state authorities.
  • Digitalization. For example, on IT equipment and software to work from home or digital literacy training for activists, volunteers, and beneficiaries.

Project activities should take place in Ukraine and last from three to six months. You can involve partners and other sources of funding.

Fast response grants are one of the thematic directions of “COVID-19: Civil Society Resilience and Sustainability – Ukraine” programme initiated by Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation and funded by the European Union.
