European Union Visitors Programme
It is a chance for young Ukrainian leaders to see the work of EU institutions firsthand.
The organisers will invite you on a five-day trip to Brussels and Strasbourg, during which you will better understand EU policies and meet European diplomats during a customised programme. The organisers will cover all expenses.
This is a joint programme of the European Parliament and the European Commission. This is one of the thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.
- Five days of one-on-one meetings with EU officials in Brussels and Strasbourg
- Daily allowance and return tickets
- Participation in the European Union Visitors Programme community, which brings together over 5,000 like-minded people and current EU events and news
This competition is for young leaders who:
- Are between 20 and 40 years old
- Have Ukrainian citizenship
- Work in the media, public sector, politics, business, economics or academic research
- Have a good command of English or French
- Have a basic knowledge of EU institutions and are keen to deepen it
Three documents in English:
- Completed application form
- CV
- Motivation letter: explain why you are interested in the programme and how it will contribute to your professional development
By 20 March, send the required documents to tania.zadera@eeas.europa.eu. The subject line should be ‘Application for EUVP 2026’.
The results will be announced in the summer-autumn of 2026, and the trip will occur in 2027. You will be able to choose your convenient dates.
- This programme is unsuitable for students, industrialists, bankers, and lawyers working in the private sector.
- Unfortunately, the organisers cannot explain why your application wasn’t selected.
