REDpreneur Women is an innovative Red Cross accelerator that combines training, mentoring, and financing for women.
Women who dream of opening their first business will receive knowledge from "zero". Small entrepreneurs will be able to scale their business or resume work. All this is to make Ukrainian women more financially independent.
The programme is implemented by the Ukrainian Red Cross in partnership with the Austrian Red Cross, with the support of the Austrian foundation NACHBAR IN NOT and the Austrian Development Agency.
What do I get?
- Up to EUR 7,000 to develop your idea
- Three months of online training on an individual schedule, where you will learn the basics of doing business, create a business plan and write a financial model
- Mentoring sessions with experienced experts
Can I apply?
The organisers are waiting for applications from Ukrainian women who want to launch or revive a business with an innovative, social, or environmental component.
What do I need to apply?
- Completed application form: tell about your education, professional experience, motivation and programme expectations
- Business project idea
- Stable internet
How do I apply?
By 12 February, fill out the online application.
The results will be announced by the end of February. 25 women will complete the training, and 17 will receive funding.
Good to know
- To receive funding for project development, present your idea at a pitching event in Kyiv and attend most of the lectures (90%).
- The organisers will prefer women belonging to vulnerable groups: IDPs, veterans, people with disabilities, women in vulnerable situations, caregivers, families with many children or single mothers.
- Adult women living in the territory under the control of the government of Ukraine are eligible to participate.
