Mentorship programme for young journalists

Sector: Media
Type: Programme
Location: Ukraine
Deadline: 01 February 2026 at 23:59 Kyiv time
Organiser: Goethe-Institut

This is a mentorship programme for aspiring journalists who dream of writing stories for young people across Europe.

You will hone your skills in weekly meetings with an experienced mentor. You will gain experience working on stories about the lives of young people outside of big cities. You will see international media from the inside by attending editorial meetings. And you will meet colleagues from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Lithuania and Poland during a workshop abroad.

After three months, you will have two materials that you can publish in JÁDU international media outlet. The organisers will provide a monthly scholarship of EUR 700 so you can devote yourself fully to the programme.

The programme is run by the Goethe-Institut online magazine JÁDU and PERSPECTIVES with EU co-funding. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.
