This is an opportunity to explore the boundary between the natural and the artificial during a three-month architectural residency in Trnava, Slovakia. Together with the lead architect and his team, you will create a project that rethinks green solutions in the city and present it to the residents. Accommodation, tickets and a monthly stipend are covered by the programme.

The competition is provided by the cultural centre Malý Berlín and the City of Trnava. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

Can I apply?

The organisers are looking for architects, urban planners, researchers and students who:

  • Live anywhere in the world
  • Are interested in or already have experience working with the theme of nature in the city
  • Are fluent in English or Slovak
  • Experience working with international projects would be an advantage

  • Completed application form
  • Cover letter — up to 1000 characters
  • Link to portfolio (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.)
  • A short story about what you do — up to 2000 characters
