This is an opportunity to save your project for media outlets affected by the US funding freeze. In four days, you will receive ideas, support and money to launch an alternative funding source.
Kyiv Independent organises the competition in partnership with UNESCO and with the support of the Japanese people.
What do I get?
- Up to USD 5,000 to launch an additional source of income
- Four days of consultations with Kyiv Independent media managers

This competition is for Ukrainian media:
- Local
- Regional
- All those who have lost more than half of their budget due to the US funding freeze
How do I apply?
Please complete the online form by 3 April. The results will be announced in a few days—by 7 April.
Good to know
- Organisers will prefer media outlets that already have ideas for alternative sources of income and are ready to launch them immediately.
