This is a guarantee that your work on Ukrainian studies will see the light of day.
The grant will help in the final stages of work on the publication when the contract with the publisher has already been concluded and the last details remain to be finalised. You will have EUR 1000 for editing, proofreading, translation, illustrations or other costs necessary for publication.
The competition is organised by the Institute for Humanities Studies in Vienna. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.
Can I apply?
This opportunity is for researchers who:
- Work in the field of Ukrainian studies
- Want to publish a dissertation, translation, anthology, scientific monograph, etc. on this topic
- Already have a contract with an academic publishing house
What do I need to apply?
- A book proposal
- CV
- A description of the expenses you plan to cover with the grant
- A letter from the publisher that will publish your work
All documents should be in English, combined into a single PDF and named in Latin characters.
How do I apply?
By 31 March, send your documents to ukraine@iwm.at.
The results will be announced in early May. There will be two winners. Unfortunately, the organisers cannot explain why your application was not selected.
