This is an opportunity to present your work at a contemporary art exhibition in Berlin. Any work reinterprets Eastern European identity and its connection to the West is eligible: painting, graphics, sculpture, video art, installation, performance, film screening or lecture. Visitors to the Matrix-Ost exhibition will see your art from 22 July to 31 August.

The competition is organised by the Museum Kesselhaus Herzberge. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

Can I apply?
The competition is open to visual artists and art groups worldwide, and there are no age restrictions.
What do I need to apply?

A completed application form containing:

  • A brief biography — up to 200 words
  • CV
  • Portfolio
  • A project description — up to 1000 words
  • Photos or visualisations of the work — up to 5 images
How do I apply?

By 31 March, fill out the Google form. You will need a Google account to do this. If you do not use this service, please get in touch with the organisers at kontakt@museumkesselhaus.de — they will offer an alternative.

The application language is English. The results will be announced in a week — by 8 April.
