Young European Ambassadors

This is an opportunity for young role models who aim to shape their views on the EU among peers in their communities. To do so effectively, you are offered volunteering, career-building, and young leadership opportunities.
New ambassadors join the network of more than 1700 young people from 30 European countries annually. Apply now to be among them.
The EU Neighbours East project provides the initiative. This is one of the thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.
- Trips to the EU and countries in Eastern Europe to participate in events like European youth forums, Eastern Partnership conferences, study trips, workshops and more
- Regular online hands-on workshops from EU officials, diplomats, journalists, representatives of civil society and companies
- A network of 1700 active peers that share your interests and can advise you on Erasmus+, EU project job, or taking part in EU cooperation in any other way
- An active online and offline community: talks, workshops, fairs, ideathons, pub quizzes, meetings, school visits, Europe Days or Instagram live debates, online bingos, social media campaigns, etc.
You can become one of the Young European Ambassadors if you:
- Are between 16 and 26 years old
- Are a citizen of Ukraine, the EU, the UK, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, or the Republic of Moldova
- Have a good command of English
- Possess good communication skills and are motivated to work in an international team
- Are interested in EU affairs and keen to engage online, share information, knowledge, and opportunities with your peers
- Are ready to initiate, implement and participate in civic engagement activities

- Completed application form. Elaborate about yourself, your experience with the EU-funded projects and the activities you would like to implement within the project.
- Your motivation to join a programme — in a video of up to 2 minutes
By 24 February, submit the online form.
This is the first stage. If your application is successful, the organisers will invite you for an interview.
- You can apply If you are 16 within one month and are more than six months until you turn 26 after expressing your interest in becoming a Young European Ambassador.
- You must be 18 years old to participate in activities involving international travel. Youth aged 16-17 can participate in online events and local activities in their countries.
- This is a voluntary project offering no remuneration. The programme is designed to be flexible and not interfere with your studying or working.
- The final results after all steps will be announced in March.
