Large cooperation grants in culture from the EU
This is a grant for large cultural project, created in cooperation of stakeholders working in the sector. This is your chance to get up to EUR 1 000,000 on the project advancing EU’s ambition to stimulate the development of cultural content, built on local partnerships, and pursuing sustainable development goals.
The priorities of the grant are:
- A sustained cooperation between civil society organisations, public sector and local authorities, together with private sector organisations for sustainable revitalisation of cultural heritage sites
- Utilisation of cultural heritage and modern culture as a driver for local development
- Content creation and distribution to promote critical thinking, peace-building, community reconciliation and democratic values
- Developing resilience and adaptivity of local cultural scene and local cultural heritage through cross sectoral partnerships, sustainable approaches to institutional capacity, novel delivery and funding models
This is one of the seven opportunities offered within the call “Ukraine Civil Society Facility: advancing the role of civil society for better governance, human rights and culture”.
From EUR 400,000 to EUR 1 000,000 on the realisation of the project.
Grant can cover 60-90% of the expenses. The rest should be covered by the means of co-funding.
Organisers welcome applications from civil society organisations, public cultural institutions, or local authorities in cooperation with another similar organisation. You can team with up to for stakeholders.
In order to be eligible for a grant, your organisations should be legal persons, established in Ukraine and non-profit-making.
There are two stages of application:
- Concept note stage. Provide information about the action in the concept note (Annex A.1). The leading partner should also register in PADOR database.
- Full application stage. Draft the full application form (Annex A.2), logical framework (Annex C), and budget (Annex B). Co-applicant(s) must register in PADOR database, lead applicants must make sure that their PADOR profile is up to date.
The concept note must be submitted online via PROSPECT online platform.
- Identifying and addressing environmental protection and climate change adaptation and mitigation issues in proposals submitted under Lots 2 to 7, will be considered an advantage.
- The partnerships between civil society organisations and local authorities are strongly encouraged.
- You can provide financial support to third parties. The maximum amount of financial support per third party is EUR 30,000.
- The lead applicant may submit more than 1 application under this call for proposals.
- The lead applicant may not be awarded more than 1 grant(s) under this call for proposals.
- The lead applicant may be a co-applicant or an affiliated entity in another application of the same lot at the same time.
- A co-applicant/affiliated entity may not be the co-applicant or affiliated entity in more than 3 application(s) under this call for proposals.
- A co-applicant/affiliated entity may not be awarded more than 1 grant(s) per lot under this call for proposals.
