New European Bauhaus Prizes 2025

This is an EU prize that has been supporting architects, urban planners, designers, artists, engineers, ecologists and social entrepreneurs from around the world for four years.
Receive up to EUR 30,000 for a project that combines the ideas of sustainability, inclusion and beauty. It can be anything dedicated to connecting with nature, restoring a sense of belonging, shaping a circular ecosystem and working with the places and people that most need it.
This is one of the thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.
What do I get?
- In the New European Bauhaus Champions category — EUR 30,000 for first place and EUR 20,000 for second place
- In the New European Bauhaus Rising Stars category — EUR 15,000 for first place and EUR 10,000 for second place
- In the special Affordable Housing category — EUR 30,000
- Publication and promotion of the project on official EU platforms
Can I apply?
- The New European Bauhaus Champions Prize can be awarded to individual professionals and studios for completed projects for Ukraine, the EU or the Western Balkans.
- The New European Bauhaus Rising Stars Prize can be awarded to professionals under 30 for prototypes and projects in progress for Ukraine, the EU or the Western Balkans.
- The Affordable Housing Prize can be awarded to individual professionals and studios for completed projects in one of the EU countries.

- If you are applying with an idea — one visualisation. If with a finished project — six photos

How do I apply?
By 14 February, apply via the online portal.
The organisers will select 22 winners. You will find out if you are one of them in July 2025.
Good to know
- The organisers will select universal projects that can be implemented in other places.
- Have you already won the New European Bauhaus Prize? Unfortunately, you are no longer eligible to apply.
