This is an international online matchmaking event for civil society actors: meet changemakers from other countries and get the chance to win EUR 1,000 to launch a project you designed together. In between visit the panels for civil society trends and cases. 

There are four tracks: pluralism and media, culture and youth, educational training measures, and conflict resolution. For each, there is a separate panel and the prize to support a collaborative project related to it. 

Civil Match will be held on 24-26 July 2020 online.

The organisers are looking for civil society actors 

  • From Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, France, Georgia, Germany, Moldova, Poland, Russia
  • Developing projects with the focus on media, culture, youth, peace, and education
What do I need to apply?
  • Be ready to prepare a catchy elevator pitch and actively network 
  • Be proactive with your ideas of cross-border cooperation
How do I apply?
Fill in the online application form in English. Early applications are encouraged: organisers will be able to arrange the best possible matches for you before the final event.
Good to know
  • Сivil society actors can represent media, associations, foundations, institutions of higher education, youth associations, culture professionals, public service broadcasters.
  • No more than 4 persons from one organisation can apply. Each person should register for a different track so that you have chances to collaborate with at least 4 other international NGOs.
  • Actors involved in governance or business can only be regarded as part of civil society in exceptional cases.
