This is an exchange programme for entrepreneurs: new entrepreneurs will visit European mentors at their workplaces, while skilled host entrepreneurs will invite less experienced European colleagues to work together. You will share expertise, find out more about foreign markets, and meet entrepreneurs, contractors, and suppliers from Europe. The duration of the exchange is 1-6 months. The programme provides financial support to new entrepreneurs during the exchange, which will help to cover the living cost in another country.
During the quarantine, the programme continues to work actively. There is a possibility of remote exchange up to three months with preserving the offline exchange up to six months.
This programme is carried out by Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs and is funded by the EU. The local partners for Ukraine are СIVITTA and RADAR. They will help you with the application and find a mentor for the exchange.
What do I get?
If you are a new entrepreneur:
- Up to 6 months of mentorship and work with a successful business person from Europe
- Hands-on experience, personalised advice, and exchange of ideas
- The opportunity to get to know another market and different ways of doing business
- International contacts and potential cooperation opportunities in Europe
- Financial support for an exchange to cover travel expenses, accommodation, etc.
If you are a host entrepreneur:
- Up to 6 months of work with a serious, motivated new entrepreneur from Europe
- Fresh ideas, innovative solutions, and an outside perspective for your business
- The opportunity to get to know another market and different ways of doing business
- International contacts and potential cooperation opportunities in Europe
Can I apply?
The organisers are looking for:
- New entrepreneurs to go on exchange
- Host entrepreneurs to mentor new entrepreneurs from other countries of Europe
What do I need to apply?
If you are a new entrepreneur:
- To be a “would-be” entrepreneur, firmly planning to start a business or an entrepreneur having started your own business within the last 3 years
- Less than 3 years of experience in running your own company
- The opportunity to go on exchange and spend there up to 6 months
- A concrete project or business idea, reflected in a business plan
If you are a host entrepreneur:
- To own or manage a small or medium-sized enterprise
- At least 3 years of experience in running your own company
- The opportunity to spend time mentoring a new entrepreneur
- Desire to share your knowledge and experience with a new entrepreneur and act as a mentor

Good to know
- The duration of the exchange is 1-6 months, depending on how long you can stay in another country or host a new entrepreneur.
- You can plan one longer stay or several shorter ones.
- The programme is accessible to all European new and host entrepreneurs who have their permanent residence 27 European Member States, Albania, Armenia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Iceland, Turkey, UK, Ukraine, and Kosovo*.
