Type: Other
Location: Ukraine
Deadline: Finished

Mediengeist is a one-day media literacy hackathon that brings together communities and projects to counter destructive narratives, fakes, and misinformation about a full-scale Russian invasion.

You will meet like-minded people, develop a joint project and pitch the idea to the jury. Three winners will receive UAH 60,000 and, together with their mentors, will plan how to bring their project to life.

The Hackathon is held by Goethe-Institut Ukraine in partnership with the Ukrainian popular science media Kunsht and funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany. This is one of the thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.
