This is your ticket to a dream professional event in one of 40 European countries. Visit an international theatre festival, represent Ukraine at a book fair, complete an internship at a famous gallery or come up with something else — you plan the route yourself.

The trip should last 7 to 40 days. You can apply individually or as a team. A virtual or hybrid trip is also an option if you cannot leave Ukraine.

The programme is implemented by the Goethe-Institut and funded by the ‘Creative Europe’ EU programme. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

What do I get?
  • The opportunity to attend a professional event in the EU, Iceland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, or Tunisia
  • Up to EUR 3,000 for accommodation, per diems, food, local transport and other related expenses. You will also get EUR 350 for transport and EUR 80 to cover visa costs
  • For virtual mobility — EUR 35 daily allowance to cover participation in online events, subsistence, Internet, etc
  • EUR 100 top-up for childcare if you plan to travel with your family.
  • Additional support for participants with a disability
Can I apply?

This opportunity is for artists and cultural professionals who:

  • Legally reside in Ukraine
  • Are above 18 years old
  • Apply independently or together with up to four colleagues
  • Work in the sectors of architecture, cultural heritage, design and fashion design, literature, music, performing and visual arts
  • Did not receive a grant in the previous waves of the competition

What do I need to apply?
  • Application form completed in English: education, professional experience, plan and project of a trip
  • A detailed description of your mobility project: where you will go, why it is essential, and how it will influence your professional development
  • CV. If you apply as a team — provide individual CVs for each group member
  • A portfolio. In the case of group application — one per group 
  • A confirmation of collaboration signed by the international partner: confirmation of workshop registration, invitation to the conference, etc.  
  • Proof of legal residence

How do I apply?

Apply in English via the Goethe-Institut online portal. You can check the application questions at the link.

Applications are accepted monthly until 30 November. You will know the results at the end of next month.

Good to know
  • Unfortunately, audiovisual professionals cannot apply. The audiovisual sector includes professionals who create programmes for radio and television, cinema, and content for media platforms.
  • You can submit only one application.
  • For individual artists, the duration should be between 7 and 40 days, while for the teams — between 7 and 14 days. The trip cannot be interrupted.
  • If you apply as a group, you should have one mobility plan.
  • If you have a disability or other special needs, you can get additional funding. Add a relevant certificate to your application.
  • If you apply as a team, the organisers will transfer the money to the leader's bank account.
  • Staff members of the EU Institutions and Goethe-Institut are not eligible to apply.
