DOCU/SYNTHESIS x Ukraine War Archive: an interdisciplinary art laboratory
This is a chance to create an art project or a documentary film on memory and preservation of cultural heritage, which will be shown at the 22 Docudays UA International Festival.
For several months, artists and filmmakers will use the Ukraine War Archive digital platform to document Russian aggression against Ukraine. The organisers will ensure you have everything you need to work: a fee, funds for production, and a curator.
The project is being implemented by Docudays in frames of the ENGAGE Programme, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Pact in Ukraine.

The organisers invite:
- Artists working with any digital or analogue media, objects, sculpture, installation and interested in working with archives
- Directors who seek to expand the film language, thanks to modern tools
- Completed application form
- CV
- A portfolio with at least two completed projects
- A brief description of the idea you want to implement
- By 30 September, fill out the application form. The organisers will announce ten workshop participants by 2 November.
- After the workshop, the five finalists will present their projects during the festival.
