Type: Residency
Location: Ukraine
Deadline: Finished

This is a residency for artists and musicians at Bakota Hub.

For two weeks, you will be able to immerse yourself in creativity—away from sirens, surrounded by canyons and like-minded people. The organisers will ensure you have everything you need: a comfortable space, materials, and a caring curator.

The residency is managed by Bakota Hub with the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation.

What do I get?
  • Two weeks at Bakota Hub — from 18 August to 1 September
  • Coverage of transfer, accommodation and food
  • Materials for the project: canvases, paints, light and music equipment
  • For artists, it is a chance to paint three canvases for exhibitions in Bakota, Vinnytsia and Kyiv under the curatorship of Vartan Markarian. The curator will also select three artists to paint a mural in the Hub
  • For musicians, there is an opportunity to write a track and shoot a video during a Kyiv presentation. The curator is Iryna Lobanok
