This is UAH 20,000 for filming your dance video. Apply if you continue to create despite the war and want your work appreciated in the EU.

Have time to complete the video by 10 September to demonstrate your work to viewers from Latvia, Estonia and Bulgaria in September-October.

The competition is held in frames of the 'Let the body speak: rebuilding the community' project, which the Contemporary Dance Platform implements with the support of the IZOLYATSIA Foundation, Trans Europe Halles and Malý Berlín. This is one of the thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

What do I get?
  • UAH 20,000 to create a dance video
  • Opportunity to present your work in Riga (Latvia), Tallinn (Estonia) and Sofia (Bulgaria)
Can I apply?

This competition is for Ukrainian dancers, choreographers and video makers who:

  • Remain in Ukraine or were forced to leave abroad after 24 February 2022
  • Respect copyrights: don't forget to agree on the rights to use the music
What do I need to apply?

Completed application form, which includes:

  • Project’s description — up to 500 characters
  • Implementation plan
  • Portfolio of the project's creative team
