This is an art residency at Kino Úsmev, a cultural space and one of the oldest cinemas in the heart of Košice.

The central theme of the residency is reconstruction. Rethink Ukrainian cinema and find new ways of developing the film industry. The organisers will provide a stipend, housing, and a comfortable workspace so that you can focus on creativity.

You will spend 20 days in the residency. Choose a convenient time from July to October 2024.

The SoliDARE project is implemented by the public association CINEFIL and the Hnat Hotkevich Palace of Culture and is co-financed by the ZMINA: Rebuilding program. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.
