Grants for Ukrainian Residencies

The grant supports the organisers of Ukrainian art residencies. You will get USD 1,500 and 4,5 months to hold a strategic session, purchase a yearly subscription to a task manager, brush up on your English, or take a grant writing course.
The grant is offered by Zapravka in cooperation with The Ukrainian Museum in New York. Run by House of Europe, the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation, and the Ukrainian Institute, Zapravka integrates Ukrainian art residencies into the international context.
What do I get?
USD 1,500 to spend on:
- Corporate events and trips
- Education and strategy sessions
- Language courses
- Legal consultations
- Software
- Psychological support, facilitation, and mentoring
Can I apply?
We welcome teams that:
- Have 2+ years of experience in organising art residencies
- Have an NGO or a FOP
- Are officially registered in Ukraine
What do I need to apply?
- Budget, drafted in our form. The format is excel.
- Registration documents. The format is pdf.
How do I apply?
Before 30 June, apply via online form.
We will announce the three winners on 15 July. Unfortunately, we cannot provide individual feedback on your application.
Good to know
- FOPs must pay a 24.5% tax. The tax includes a 5% income tax, an 18% personal income tax, and a 1.5% military tax, which we, as tax agents, have to withhold.
- You will receive the money at the beginning of August. Make sure to spend all the money and finish the reports by 13 December.
- We will select winners based on relevant experience, team capacity and competence, value for money and their long-term impact on the sustainability of the residence, as well as budget detail and soundness.
