Scholarships for video bloggers who create content about Ukraine

This is an opportunity to receive up to UAH 150,000 for filming TikTok and YouTube videos about Ukrainian traditions, culture and language. Help Ukrainians to realise themselves and reject the colonial past — you will have up to 10 months to create and promote content. For inspiration, check out the list of last year's winners.
The competition is offered by the International Renaissance Foundation. This is one of the thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.
What do I get?
From UAH 100,000 to UAH 150,000 that can cover:
- Filming, editing, motion design, etc.
- Advertising.
- Purchase of filming equipment.
- Travel costs within Ukraine.
- Online services.
Can I apply?
These scholarships are perfect for video bloggers who:
- Talk about Ukrainian history and culture, debunk Russian fakes, show the consequences of the influence of Russian imperialism and reveal the stories of people who fought for Ukrainian statehood.
- Have an active channel (posting videos for the last three months).
- Have been developing the channel for over half a year.
- Have Ukrainian citizenship or a passport.
- Respect copyright.
What do I need to apply?
- Completed application form: elaborate on your channel, the topic of the videos you want to create, the target audience, and the budget.
- A Ukrainian-language channel on YouTube or TikTok with a large number of subscribers.
An active channel community, patrons on Buy Me a Coffee or similar platforms and distribution of content on various platforms will be an advantage.
How do I apply?
By 26 April, submit the online form.
You will find out if you are among the ten winners on 13 May.
Good to know
- The scholarship amount will depend on the application's content, budget, and the channel's popularity.
- You cannot spend money on advertising in Telegram or other Russian services.
- After publishing the video, you must provide a brief report and documents that prove the expenses.
