This is an opportunity to become an alum member of the EU-supported projects. With international colleagues, you will work with disadvantaged young people, help them become more active, and participate in future EU mobility programmes.

The EU4Youth coordination and support team manages the competition in cooperation with SALTO, Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps, and the EU Neighbours East project. This is one of the thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

What do I get?
  • Mentorship support from a professional youth worker throughout the whole project.
  • Opportunity to implement local initiatives for disadvantaged groups in their respective communities. Organisers will cover administrative and other necessary costs of up to EUR 1,500.
  • Participation in online and offline community events: networking, seminars, workshops, the IdeaLab etc.  
  • Opportunity to be first to find out about new EU learning opportunities. 
  • Certificate of recognition issued by the European Commission that will strengthen your CV.
Can I apply?

This competition is for young activists who:

  • Are aged 18–35 years old.
  • Have citizenship of Ukraine. You can also apply if you were forced to leave Ukraine due to the war.
  • Have participated in EU-funded initiatives: Erasmus+, the European Solidarity Corps, the EU4Youth programme, Young European Ambassadors, the EaP Civil Society Fellowships programme, or another regional or national programme focused on young people and youth work.
  • Have experience in youth work activities at the national or community level.
  • Are ready to dedicate about 2–4 days a month to voluntary work within the network.
  • You have a desire to implement projects for disadvantaged young people. You will have ten months to implement the idea.

Good to know
  • The organisers will choose 12 winners from Ukraine.
  • This competition is also open to young people from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia or the Republic of Moldova. Share the English version of the contest with your friends from these countries.
