Solitude Fellowship: for artists, scientists and cultural professionals
This is an international scholarship programme for artists, scientists and cultural professionals at Akademie Schloss Solitude. The seven foci of the scholarship are visual arts, music and performing arts, digital art, architecture and design, literature and translation, education, mediation and theory, social, humanitarian, natural and economic sciences.
You will spend six to twelve months in Stuttgart working on your artistic or scientific project. The Akademie Schloss Solitude will provide a stipend, accommodation, tickets, materials and workspace.
The programme is managed by Akademie Schloss Solitude with the financial support of the German province of Baden-Württemberg. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.
- A monthly stipend of EUR 1,200, health insurance and money for materials and round-trip tickets.
- Access to all the Akademie Schloss Solitude facilities: digital editing and virtual reality studios, printing and copying room, two small libraries and workstations.
- Exhibition space for discussions, public presentations and events.
- Publication of the project on the resources of Akademie Schloss Solitude.
- Participation in the Alumni community of about 1,700 professionals from more than 120 countries.
This programme is for artists, scientists and cultural professionals who:
- Live in any country in the world.
- Already hold or are currently pursuing a PhD degree.
- Have a good command of English, German or French.
- Have never participated in this programme before.

- You can apply in a group with other professionals.
- You cannot apply if you have already received the Kunststiftung Baden-Württemberg Scholarship.
