Culture Helps: individual grants for mental health support

This is an opportunity for cultural managers, artists and activists working with displaced people. You will receive up to EUR 1,000 to take care of your mental health.

Pay for a therapist, take stress management training, enroll in art therapy, or spend money on something else that will help you cope with the stress of war.

The project is implemented by Insha Osvita and zusa (Germany) with the financial support of the EU. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

Can I apply?

Grants are perfect for cultural managers, artists and activists who:

  • Are above 18 years old.
  • Live in Ukraine or moved to the EU or another Creative Europe country after 24 February, 2022.
  • Have experience in integration of displaced people into new realities and communities through culture.
How do I apply?

Fill in the application form by 27 October. You can apply in English or Ukrainian, but English is preferred.

Good to know
  • You can check all the questions from the application here, but in order to apply, fill out the application form
  • Take a look at the tips or catch the recording of the online session to get yourself set for a good application. 
  • The organisers will support around 30 artists. You will find out the results no later than 4 December.
  • If your application is not selected, you can apply for the third wave of the competition in January.
