Art residencies in Paris
This is an opportunity to implement an artistic project about current sociological, political, technological or environmental issues independently or with a researcher.
You will live and work in the heart of Paris. The organisers will provide a monthly stipend of EUR 1,000, accommodation, round-trip tickets, and production funds. The residency lasts from three to six months.
You can choose the dates yourself: from March to August 2024 or from September 2024 to February 2025.
The Art Explora Foundation provides the programme in partnership with Cité Internationale des Arts. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

- Free accommodation and a comfortable work studio in Cité internationale des arts - Montmartre site in Paris — three months for artist-researcher teams and six months for individual artists.

This residency is for visual, performing and digital artists, art critics and curators who:
- Have at least five years of professional activity.
- Desire to implement the art project independently or in collaboration with a scientist. Your partner has to work in the field of humanities, social sciences, sciences, technological innovation, or ecology.
- Application form completed in English or French.
- CV — up to 5 pages.
- Motivation letter — up to 2 pages.
- A description of the project you want to implement during the residency — up to 3,500 characters that visuals can accompany.
- A description summarizing the activities and workshops carried out with different types of public — up to 1,500 characters.
- Portfolio — up to 30 pages.

Organisers will support twenty participants. If you plan to visit Paris between March and August 2024, the results will be sent in January 2024. If your residence is planned from September 2024 to February 2025 — in May 2024.
- If you are applying in a team with a researcher, you need to submit one joint application.
- Organisers will consider the quality of the project, relevance to the theme of the residency and the importance of this research for the artistic and scientific community in France.
