European youth camp for 11-13 year-old children // expired

A European Youth Camp is a summer camp with a focus on European values. We choose an important topic for each session and explain it to children in an interactive way. The camp will focus on values such as tolerance and inclusion. Except for learning, children will make friends and have fun. Participation in the camp is free of charge: accommodation, meals, and participation in the camp's activities are covered.
The main goals of the camp are:
- Fostering among adolescents the values promoted by the EU
- Promoting mutual understanding and exchange between Ukrainian and European cultures
- Promoting the study of European languages
The camp will be held at International Children's Center "Artek" from 30 May till 12 June 2020. Transfer of the children from Kyiv train station to the camp is provided. It is also possible to bring your child by yourself.
This opportunity is perfectly suitable for Ukrainian children of 11-13 years old from all regions of Ukraine who want to spend two wonderful, eventful weeks in a youth camp.

- We encourage children from small towns and from rural areas, and from all the regions of Ukraine to apply
- We encourage children with disabilities / special needs, yet autonomous, to apply (the child should not need permanent support)
The application of the children is done by parents.

- Doctor and first-aid kit will be available at the camp.
- If your child is selected for a camp, you should get Medical certificate 079/o and information on the sanitary-epidemiological environment not later than three days before departure.
- If a child is selected for a camp, a statement from parents about the child – his/her particularities, needs, preferences and talents.
