This is an opportunity to receive up to EUR 100,000 for investigative journalism on corruption, climate change or democracy and human rights. 

The competition is organised by EU4 Independent Media. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

Can I apply?

The organisers are looking for independent media outlets, non-profit organisations and content production companies that:   

  • Have more than three years of experience
  • Operate in Ukraine or in exile
  • Have produced at least three journalistic investigations
  • Act according to the Code of Ethics

What do I need to apply?
  • Online form completed in English
  • Description of the project: relevance, formats, inclusiveness and project’s impact on the target audience  
  • Budget in a form
  • A marketing plan and a list of platforms you will use to disseminate the project
How do I apply?
Fill out the online form by 9 July.
Good to know
  • You cannot apply if you are already receiving funding under another EU project.
  • Media from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Belarus are also eligible to apply. Share the English version of the opportunity with colleagues from these countries.
