ReSilence: open call for artists to design soundscapes for future cities
This is a residency for artists to design soundscapes for future cities.
You will get up to EUR 80,000 to create an exhibition on new ways of enabling participation in concerts, ways of experiencing music with your full body, and ambience of urban spaces and electronic cars.
You will have 12-18 months to prepare the work that will be exhibited in late 2024.
The residency is held by S+T+ARTS, a programme managed by Ars Electronica through Repairing the Present and funded by the EU. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.
- From EUR 40,000 to EUR 120,000 on a project shaping novel ways of urban environments and soundscapes.

The organisers are looking for participants from all over the world:
- Individual artists who will take full advantage of the expertise available in the project.
- Artists in pair with small or medium enterprises that will help them with technical expertise and production.
- Online form completed in English: summary of the proposed work, description of your previous experience, motivation, ambition, and relation to ReSilence, and expected duration of the residency and the budget.
