This is an opportunity to spend two weeks in a cozy apartment in the old part of Kamianets-Podilskyi while working on the poetry project. At any convenient time from June to September, you can compile a poetry collection, translate the poetry of the classics or create a poetic performance.

This opportunity is provided by the TRANSLATORIUM — literary and translation festival, in cooperation with Versopolis and financed by the ‘Creative Europe’ programme. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

Can I apply?
This residency is for Ukrainian poets and translators who continue to work in Ukraine.
What do I need to apply?
  • Short description of your professional activities with a list of recent publications — up to 200 words
  • Motivation — up to 300 words
  • Description of the project you will be working during the residency — up to 300 words
How do I apply?

Submit the application form by 25 May. 

Organisers will choose 4 winners for the first two months of residency.

Good to know
  • Preference will be given to writers from the regions most affected by the war.
  • The second wave of residencies will take place in July. If your application doesn't win this time, try again in the summer.
