Creative Europe: journalism pluralism
This is an opportunity to receive up to 3 million euros for courses and grants for Ukrainian independent media. Help local, community and investigative media to invent business models that help them stay independent.
You can work alone or in cooperation with at least two partners from 39 countries. You will have two years to implement the project. The grant can cover up to 90% of the costs.
This is one of many Creative Europe opportunities for Ukrainians and one of the thousands of programmes that the EU can offer.
The organisers are waiting for applications from media, associations, journalistic funds and training organisations that:
- Work with mass media
- Have proven experience in conducting educational courses or providing grants
- Are legal entities including private entrepreneurs
- Have been officially registered in Ukraine for more than two years

Application form completed in English that includes:
- Information about the team
- Project description: relevance, concept, sharing the responsibilities in the team, communication strategy and action plan
- Budget of the project
- Declaration that provides the full ownership structure
- Declaration on standards and independence
- Mandate to act on behalf of the consortium — if you apply in partnership with organisations from the EU, Albania, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Iceland, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Norway, Northern Macedonia, Serbia, or Tunisia

- If you are applying for the EU programmes for the first time, get your EU login first
- Register your organisation and ask to register all the partners so everyone gets a PIC-number
- Find your contest on the Funding and Tenders Opportunity Portal, complete the online form and upload the required documents
