Fellowships for historians, culture studies scholars, sociologists and anthropologists
This is an opportunity for Ukrainian researchers of social sciences and humanities to work on their research in the Center of Urban History in Lviv for six months. You will have a monthly stipend of EUR 1,000, a comfortable workspace and access to all the resources of the institution.
You can spend from three to six months at the center from May to December 2023.
The fellowships are provided by The Center for Urban History and supported by the Institute for Human Sciences and Körber-Stiftung. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

These scholarships are for Ukrainian historians, culture studies scholars, sociologists, historians of architecture, and anthropologists who:
- Are currently enrolled or already hold a PhD in the humanities or social sciences
- Have an idea or are already implementing a scientific project related to the topic of war and reconstruction, urbanization in multi-ethnic cities, urban visuality and communicative cities, cultural heritage and infrastructure, digital and public history, gendered experiences, etc.
- A short description of the project — up to 2,000 words. Do not forget to specify the desired period of fellowship

- For non-holders of PhD — one recommendation letter
Complete all the documents in Ukrainian or English.
