Discussion: 'Traditional Ukrainian culture: sharovary patriotism or the basis of national identity?'

Sector: Culture and creative industries
Type: Other
Location: Zoom
Deadline: Finished
Organiser: House of Europe: Goethe-Institut Ukraine

Why do we underestimate traditional Ukrainian culture? We will look for an answer to this ambiguous question during the discussion.

We will discuss how the Soviet occupation forced us to let go of the traditional way of living and how did it influence the traditional culture. Hop on to share your thoughts and hear valuable insights from researchers and ethnographers.

We will meet on Thursday 13 April via Zoom. Please ensure you are available from 16.00 till 17.30.
