Scholarships for video bloggers who create content about Ukraine

This is an opportunity to get up to UAH 180,000 to tell the world the truth about the war in Ukraine. The International Renaissance Foundation will support YouTubers and TikTokers who will become the voice of truth for foreigners and will debunk fakes and show the Ukrainian point of view.
The competition is offered by the International Renaissance Foundation. This is one of the thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.
What do I get?
From UAH 100,000 to UAH 180,000 that can cover:
- Filming, editing, motion design, etc.
- Advertising on social media
- Purchase of filming equipment
- Travel costs within Ukraine necessary for the filming
Can I apply?
These scholarships are perfect for video bloggers who:
- Counteract propaganda: talk about real events, debunk fakes, introduce viewers to Ukrainian history and culture
- Are already creating or just planning to shoot content in foreign languages
- Have been developing the channel for half a year or more
- Have the citizenship or permanent residency in Ukraine
- Respect copyright
What do I need to apply?
- Completed application form: elaborate on your channel, the topic of the videos you want to create and their target audience, budget
- YouTube or TikTok channel with a large number of subscribers
- Knowledge of any foreign language, except for Russian
An active channel community and patrons on Patreon will be an advantage.
How do I apply?
Please submit the online form by 18 November.
You will find out the results on 28 November 2022.
Good to know
- The amount of the scholarship will depend on the application’s content, budget and the popularity of the channel.
- After publishing the video, you will need to provide a brief report and documents that prove the expenses.
