European Award 2022: new dialogues between the arts and audiences
The COVID-19 pandemic and digital technologies are forcing museums, galleries, theaters, philharmonic societies and other cultural institutions to change their approach of engaging with audiences.
European Award 2022 is an opportunity for non-profit cultural organisations to get EUR 50,000 to implement innovative projects of audience engagement to art that can be shared and scaled across Europe. You can apply alone or in collaboration with other cultural institutions.
The award is organised by Art Explora foundation in partnership with the Académie des beaux-arts. This is one of the thousands of the EU opportunities for Ukraine.

Organisers are waiting applications from museums, theatres, galleries, operas, orchestras, art centres, grass-roots organisations and other independent arts organisations that:
- Are registered as non-profit cultural organisations
- Are registered in Ukraine, EU-countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom
- Application form completed in English or French
- Project description: outline the main project activities, target audience, partners, and expected results — up to five pages or in video of up to five minutes
- Budget in the format of table: elaborate on all sources of funding where award income is no more than 80%
- Presentation of the applicant cultural organisation

- You can submit only one application from each cultural organisation.
- Organisers will reveal a short-list of 18 applicants at the end of October. Three winners will be publicly announced at a ceremony in early December 2022.
- The amount of the award will be paid in euros.
