This is an opportunity to go to the Czech Republic to get a master's degree or defend a doctoral dissertation. Programme will fund your studying and stay abroad. 

The master’s programme lasts for two-three years. You can choose a study programme in English or Czech. Postgraduate programme provides study programmes in English lasting for three-four years. 

The scholarship is provided by the Government of the Czech Republic. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

What do I get?
  • Monthly stipend: around EUR 570 for masters and around EUR 610 for postgraduates. You will receive a scholarship only during your stay in the Czech Republic 
  • Assistance with finding a housing 
  • Social and health insurance
  • All the facilities available for university students 
  • Annual preparatory study provided by the Institute for Language and Preparatory Studies of Charles University if you choose a study programme pursued in Czech.
Can I apply?
These scholarships are for students from Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Moldova, Cambodia, Ethiopia, or Zambia.
What do I need to apply?
  • Application form completed in English or Czech
  • General knowledge test 
  • English language test if you choose a study programme pursued in English
  • At least the B2 level of the Czech language on the CEFR scale if you choose a study programme pursued in Czech.

How do I apply?

Submit an application form in English or Czech. Don`t forget to complete compulsory tests, otherwise your application will not be proceeded.

This is the first step of the application process. If your application is successful you will be invited for an interview and asked to provide necessary documents.

Good to know
  • The applications are being accepted on a rolling basis till 30 September 2022.
  • Once a scholarship is granted, neither the university nor the study programme or language of study may be changed.
  • You will find out whether you got the scholarship at the end of 2022.
  • You will need to cover the travel expenses by yourself.
