This is an opportunity for Ukrainian younger scholars to continue their research activities in the German Historical Institute in Warsaw. You will have a scholarship for up to three months to conduct field research, work in a library, and have a workplace in the Institute`s office.

The scholarship is provided by the German Historical Institute Warsaw with the support of the Max Weber Foundation. This is one of thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

Can I apply?
You can get a scholarship if you have citizenship of Ukraine and work in the field of history or related disciplines.
What do I need to apply?
  • CV
  • A list of published historian works
  • Cover letter with information about the desired period of scholarships
  • Up to one page description of a research project you want to implement during stay at the institute

All the documents should be completed in Polish, English or German.
