This is a chance to present your project at the biggest European festival dedicated uniquely to television series. Professional workshops, round tables and one-on-one meeting with experienced screenwriters will help you to prepare. Also you will visit special screenings and exclusive premieres of Series Mania.
The programme will be held from 18 to 24 March 2022.
Series Mania is co-financed by Creative Europe. This is one of the thousands of EU opportunities for Ukraine.

What do I get?

Can I apply?
This is a programme for screenwriters who:
You can apply as a solo writer or as a duo.
- Realised at least one project broadcast (TV, or web series, feature, or short movie)
- Have an idea of TV series developed enough to be pitched
- Do not have yet a producer or broadcaster for new project
- Fluently speak English
You can apply as a solo writer or as a duo.
What do I need to apply?
Completed application form which includes:
- A one-page concept of the project that you want to work on
- CV
- Motivation statement
- A writing sample of your previous series scenario
- Two professional letters of reference from a producer, broadcaster, or a faculty member
How do I apply?
Fill in the submission form. Prepare all the documents in advance as it is not possible to save and return to your application form.
Good to know
- This contest is only for fiction series. You can not apply with documentaries or animation.
- Travel costs and meal expenses must be covered by applicants.
- You will be informed about the results of the contest on 31 January 2022.
