This is an opportunity to go to Austria for a few months to pursue research for your thesis under the supervision of a professor from a local university. The programme will cover scholarship and round trip for the candidates studying medicine, agriculture, natural, technical, social sciences, humanities, and arts.
The visit will last from one to four months and start in January 2022 the earliest.
To find the description of scholarship on the organisator’s website choose Ukraine as a country of origin and the Scholarship foundation of the Republic of Austria as a funding organisation. This is one of the thousands of EU opportunities for Ukrainians.
What do I get?
- Monthly stipend of EUR 1,050
- Travel expenses covered
- Assistance with insurance and finding accommodation
Can I apply?
This is a scholarship for:
- Bachelors, masters, and postgraduates up to 35 years
- Doctoral students up to 40 years
What do I need to apply?
Please provide German or English translations for documents submitted in the national language.
- Completed application form
- CV
- Project plan, describing the plans and completed preparatory work for the research stay
- Сonfirmation of supervision by a supervisor at the chosen Austrian university
- Two letters of recommendation from your Ukrainian university lecturers written over the past six months
- Scanned passport
- A scanned copy of a document confirming your degree.
- Written proof of enrollment at a study programme at Ukrainian university

Good to know
- If you are a regular student or researcher at an Austrian university, you are not eligible.
- You will receive an email with contest results in October 2021.
