Digital Labs: theatre directors
Theatre is more than grand buildings, velvet stage curtains, and a Stanislavski's system. You can ask elder communists to share their real memories on the stage or invite people to wander around the city, following the guidance of a call-centre specialist speaking in their headphones, and it will still be a stage performance.
This Digital Lab concentrates on non-traditional forms of theatre. You will understand how to turn the streets of your city into your stage, make use of technologies and documentary evidence, work with disabled people and amateurs, learning from the pioneers of alternative theatre from Ukraine and the directors from the EU and UK that for ages have been successfully working in this genre. After the Digital Lab you will have a ready-to-apply project of a theatre play.
The Lab will run for nine days from 8 to 16 November 2021. We invite translators: you will communicate with foreign experts fluently.
Carefully study the application guidelines, join the Digital Lab, and direct creative stage performances.
