This is a programme for publishers from all over the world, offering an opportunity to negotiate the sale and purchase of rights for books with Ukrainian agents. You will join B2B meetings, get access to video lectures on the Ukrainian book market and receive personal consultations on grants, festivals, fairs, and events.

Ukrainian Literature: Rights On! will take place online during the International Book Arsenal Festival. The educational programme is scheduled for 7-9 June 2021, B2B meetings — for 5-7 July 2021. 

Ukrainian Literature: Rights On! is our joint project with the International Book Arsenal Festival. Partners: Creative Europe and the Department of Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

What do I need to apply?
  • A computer and a stable internet connection to join the online B2B meetings
  • Fluency in English, Russian or Ukrainian, or the opportunity to pay for an interpreter yourself
How do I apply?

Good to know
  • We will communicate the results of the open call before 18 June 2021. Do not forget to check your inbox.
  • You must actively participate in the programme and attend all events.
  • You will work with various online instruments, so a desktop or laptop is needed to participate. You cannot join via a smartphone or tablet.
  • The working language of the B2B meetings is English. Please make sure the representative of your publishing house speaks the language fluently. 
  • After participating in the programme, you will have to take a short mandatory survey. It will help us make Ukrainian Literature: Rights On! even better next year.
